Last April the 2nd 2010, the Sponsored Pediatric Service in Osteopathy was on the news at TV3 echoing the service developed in the COB and promoted by the Fundació EOB.

Osteopathic Marathon for Haiti |
Fundació Escola d’Osteopatia de Barcelona organised a voluntary funds collection for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti last February 5th and 6th.
The osteopathic Marathon achieved the results below:
56 patients treated during a day and a half
17 osteopaths actively taking part in the initiative
2.269,09 euros collected
THANK YOU VERY MUCH to all of you for your effort, time and illusion that will soon turn into humanitarian help. This amount has been fully transferred to Compassion NGO and Red Cross accounts.

We are opening the Solidarity paediatric Osteopathy Service |
We feel really happy to announce that the Clinica d’Osteopatia de Barcelona has opened the Solidarity paediatric Osteopathy Service for children without economic resources. This initiative is promoted by the Fundació EOB and provides subsidies for those kids who can not afford an osteopathic treatment.

New service of Osteopathy specialized in sport |
The COB is pleased to announce the launch of a Sportive Osteopathy Service. This service is managed by the osteopath and graduated in Health Sciences, Mr. Ferran Trinidad who has worked in this field for years and has developed his own methodology of osteopathic approach to the athlete. This way, we don’t respond only to the injuries that accompany the athlete but also we turn osteopathy into a perfect complement to maximize the athletic performance.

Tutor Clinical Training OSEAN |
On March 21st and 22nd, the OSEAN organized the 1st Tutors Clinical Training in the ESO, Maidstone, to pool the various clinical training initiatives being undertaken in the teaching clinics of Europe and start working to establish common performance criteria.
Gerard Alvarez and Jordi Cid, Clinical Director and Academic Coordinator, respectively, attended the training on behalf of the Fundació Escola d’Osteopatia.
